THE WHEELPAPER

The Squeekchain whitepaper, made playable.

A real hamster runs on a real wheel. A magnet on the wheel passes a sensor. Each accepted pass counts as one work unit. That is the entire input of this chain.

Unofficial. Every number on this page comes from the whitepaper.

THE WHEEL

A hamster wheel turning. Each time its magnet passes the sensor, one work unit is counted.

ROUNDS AND BLOCKS

Work is counted in 10-minute rounds. A round can hold at most 10,000 work units. Rounds fill Squeek blocks. Ethereum just records the result. Three clocks, none of them waiting for the others.

THE MONEY

Every completed block mints 6,900 SQK. The cap is 2,100,000,000. One tenth was pre-minted for liquidity. The rest only exists if the wheel turns.

THE SQUEEKS

Minted SQK is shared by the 9,999 Squeek NFTs, by power. Two Squeeks of the same level merge into one of the next. The donor burns.

One Level 10 costs 512 Level 1 Squeeks. 511 of them burn.

9,999 Squeeks exist. Burned ones never come back. The collection only shrinks.

THE TRUST

What is proven

  • A magnet pass was accepted
  • Which key signed the record
  • The math on this page, it is the whitepaper's

What is not

  • Which animal turned the wheel
  • That the measurement is true
  • Anything about price

The whitepaper says all of this itself. This page just makes it something you can touch. The launch values here may differ from the live Sepolia test, which runs a different schedule.
